AITA for refusing to stay in my room to make my roommates gf more comfortable

I20M live with my friend and his gif and have for about 4 months. My friend and I have been friends for two years or so, we met through work. We didn’t hang out often and I had only met his gf a few times before we moved in together. My friend recently went back to working at his job site instead of from home, and when his gf is home she always acts weird around me. She doesn’t talk much. One time I had knocked on their bedroom door to ask if she wanted pizza that I had ordered when my friend was at work and she acted super scared.
I like to hang out in the living room, or use our shared space. The other day my friend had texted me asking if I could just stay in my room the days his gf is home and he’s not. I said no Why would I do that? He replied with that it makes his girlfriend uncomfortable with a guy walking around the house. I said it’s my house too, and I pay rent. He then replied with it’s not gonna hurt me to stay in my room for a few hours 2 or 3 days a week. I said no but it isn’t fair to me and I shouldn’t have too and she should have assumed this would happen a few times when we moved in together. He got annoyed and was like just do it to make her comfortable and I said back no.
We hadn’t spoke much since but then yesterday it just her and I home alone for a few hours. I made food in the kitchen, and took a shower. She never came out of the room at all. Today I had off and slept a lot, my friend was off as well and noticed I guess and texted me asking how come I was fine with it when he was home, and asked me to think about it. AITA
