Following the release of the 1.7.96 Patch Update in Mobile Legends‘ Original Server, a succession of updates has been introduced in the Advanced Server as well. The test server now features a new hero named Nolan, along with some minor adjustments made to existing heroes. This Patch Update focuses on modifications to equipment within the game and introduces players to the newly added hero, Nolan, among other changes.
New Hero Nolan
Nolan, a heroic Assassin character, relies on energy just like other heroes such as Fanny and Ling. There is also speculation that he might be the originator of Layla, an exceptional Marksman Hero; however, very little information about this storyline is available.
Abilities
Passive – Dimensional Rift
Nolan possesses extraordinary abilities that can create a tear in the fabric of space, resulting in a rift on the ground. This rift lasts for 5 seconds and has the power to slow down any enemies who step on it by 30%. Additionally, if two rifts collide, they will explode after a brief pause. This explosion inflicts physical damage amounting to 150 plus 120% of Nolan’s total physical attack power and also pulls nearby enemies towards it.
Nolan receives an additional 15 energy for each enemy hero or creeps affected by a rift explosion. If multiple explosions hit the same enemy simultaneously, the subsequent damage will be reduced to 75% of the previous hit. Every 6 seconds, Nolan’s next Basic Attack becomes enhanced and allows him to dash towards his target while causing (+120% Total Physical ATK) Physical Damage, also creating a Rift in the process.
Skill 1 – Expansion
Nolan slices a rectangular region in front of him, causing 230/280/330/380/430/480(+40% Total Physical ATK) physical damage and reducing the movement speed of affected enemies by 30% for 1 second.
Skill 2 – Gauge
Nolan swiftly moves towards the intended direction, causing harm to opponents in his way by inflicting 70/100/130/160/190/220 (+30% of his overall physical attack power) as physical damage.
Skill 3 – Fracture
Nolan swiftly strikes his opponents in front, causing physical damage three times. This attack inflicts 100/150/200 (+15% of his total physical attack) worth of damage and creates three rifts. Additionally, Nolan also gets rid of any negative effects affecting him and performs a backward slash simultaneously.
Hero Adjustments
Natalia (Adjusted)
Following some experimentation, the developers opt to modify Natalia’s Skill 2 in order to transform her into a faster and more agile Assassin rather than being focused on providing support during team battles. At present, they have no plans of altering her other abilities as found on the Official Server.
Skill 2
- Skill Revamp: Natalia currently throws a smoke bomb where she is standing, which shields her from being attacked by the basic attacks or abilities of enemies who are not inside the smoke.
- Enemies inside are not affected.

The special ability Frenzy will no longer be available.
Unique Passive – Phantom
- Casting the Ultimate grants 15% extra Movement Speed.
- Price: 2020 >> 2140
- Build Path adjusted accordingly.
Haas’s Claws (↑)
The modifications made to the equipment have been fine-tuned by developers for optimal performance.
Attributes (↑)
- Physical Attack: 70 >> 30
- New Attribute: 20% Attack Speed
- New Attribute: 20% Crit Chance
The special effect Insanity is no longer available.
Unique Passive – Frenzy
- Gains 20% extra Attack Speed upon Crit Hits.
- Price: 1810 >> 2020
- Build Path adjusted accordingly.
Other changes
- Developers have updated the model and portrait of Akai’s classic skin.
- Developers have fixed an issue where the beam from Gord’s Ultimate would spin uncontrollably.
- Developers have fixed an issue where Popol might cause a logic error with equipment “Immortality” when resurrecting Kupa.
- The problem of Pharsa’s Skills 1 and 2 having an inconsistent area of damage compared to the visual effects or indicator has been resolved by developers.
- The game developers have improved and modernized the standard sound effects and battle music. They have also introduced a new interactive music feature.
